Carlos Campos grew up in a tailoring and design household inspired by his father.  At an early age, Carlos Campos set out to see the world.  That journey drew him to New York City.

Campos studied fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology.  He has helped create costumes for many acclaimed plays including "The Invention of Love", "The Graduate", "The Light in the Piazza", "Fiddler on the Roof", and "The Jersey Boys".

In the spring of 2010 Carlos collaborated with architect Santiago Calatrava, designing costumes for “Estancia", his first solo project for the New York City Ballet. 

Carlos Campos designs modern mens and womenswear featuring well-tailored pieces constructed from exceptional fabrics.  Carlos Campos’ collections have been sold in cities worldwide including New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco with plans to distribute Spring 2011 into Mexico, Australia and South Korea. Campos also has a made-to-measure studio in New York City.

The Fall 2007 collection was recognized as Best Menswear at Mexico City Fashion Week. His awards and recognitions by the industry and his peers brought the attention of The Kattan Group, one of the world’s top manufacturing companies.  Coming from similar backgrounds and sharing a common working culture, they soon established a partnership in early 2008.  This partnership meant for Carlos Campos an important step into further developing his brand as well as being able to create a full package company.

In 2009, he was awarded with Fashion Group International’s Rising Star Award for Best Menswear Design. And in the Spring of 2010 Campos launched his new website design, showcasing his latest collections.

Carlos Campos designs have been worn by the likes of Tyson Ritter, Atomic Tom, Rodner Figueroa, Trey Songz, Justin Timberlake, Enrique Iglesias. Ethan Hawke, Scissors Sisters, Fall Out Boy, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, and Ville Vallo. 

He has appeared on The Today Show, VH1, Entertainment Tonight, FOX, CNN, and A&E.  Photo editorials and features include national and international magazines such as Wallpaper, DNR, Esquire, Numero Homme, Flaunt, Details, WWD, Arena, Gotham, People, Time-Out New York, Zink, Antenna and Entertainment Weekly.
